Lou's Italian Specialties - Review #7 (Denver, Colorado)

Updated: Nov 29, 2020

I'm glad I found Lou's Italian Specialties in Denver, Colorado. It was a good sign when the first sandwich listed on their hot sandwiches list was chicken parm. The sandwich looked tasty as soon as I opened the wrapping. The bread was delicious - it wasn't toasted but was some of the freshest bread I've ever had. The sauce was very fresh and lively with visible pieces of onions and peppers. The chicken was tender with a thick breading but could have been pounded into a thinner cutlet. The fresh mozzarella cheese was delicious, melted and spread evenly. I enjoyed this parm a lot with the only main issue being the chicken was too thick. This parm gets a #onethumbsup.
